I'm Carrie, the founder and creative force behind Wrapped by Carrie. What started as a fun hobby just a few years ago has turned into an incredible and unplanned gift wrapping journey that I am so grateful for. Thank you for finding me. I am thrilled you are here and hope you stick around for a while.

HOW IT STARTED

After spending 27 years building a successful career in corporate America -- the last 12 as the Head of Influencer Partnerships at one of LA's top social media agencies -- I made the (not so) difficult decision to walk away and forge a new path for myself. I was burnt out and needed a break, but I had no idea what the next chapter would be. I figured something would come along that made sense. As life happens, however, I was faced with a series of unexpected personal challenges that required me to put my professional endeavors on hold. Simultaneously, I had quietly started an Instagram channel in preparation for the chance to be on a gift wrapping competition reality tv show. My self training paid off, and I was selected out of hundreds of applicants to be 1 of 8 hopeful contestants! Spoiler alert, I did not win, but it was such a fun, unique, and life-changing experience. About 6 months later, my little IG page grew from 2,000 followers to over 200,000 practically overnight. I took that surprising growth, and the subsequent positive feedback I received from my followers, as a sign to turn my passion for gift wrapping into a platform to help and inspire others, while creating new earning opportunities to support myself and my son.

HOW IT'S GOING

Since I decided to go all-in on gift wrapping last year, I've taught hundreds of people through in-person and online classes, partnered with dozens of brands to promote their products, and have custom wrapped an endless amount of gifts for corporate and individual clients.

It has been the most rewarding experience to watch people grow and know I'm bringing them joy through teaching techniques and encouraging their own creativity. Now I am ready to take things to the next level by introducing The Wrap Club, which is both a product and a community. As a product, The Wrap Club delivers a curated collection of premium wrapping supplies to its Members every quarter. As a community, The Wrap Club is a space where everyone can come to learn new skills, get great pro tips, meet and chat with likeminded creatives, and have a lot of fun!
